Deliver the first result by hand

Help your first customers finish the real task your product promises. Learn what prevents them coming back.

Is this a fit?

Try it when

You have a working product and a handful of willing people with a task due now.

Skip it when

Every session would require a custom feature or a service you cannot sustainably offer.

Your first test

  1. Recruit up to five willing users with a real task.
  2. Observe their first attempt and record every point where you help.
  3. Help them reach the useful result without disguising manual work as automation.
  4. Follow up at their next natural usage occasion and distinguish independent use from assisted use.

A starting template

Have a [task] to do this week? I’m looking for five people to try [product] while I watch where it gets confusing. You’ll use your own task, and honest feedback is the goal.

Know what you’re learning

Measure

Independent repeat completion and actual payments, kept separate from assisted success.

When to pause

After five sessions, fix the repeated bottleneck before buying more traffic.
